According to the International Food Policy Research Institute, 10 million ha of land lost by erosion, by year. Each year, anywhere in the world, growth of cities and slums, the intensification of transport networks, etc., removed from agriculture hundreds of thousands of hectares of very fertile area. The area of farmland per person has declined by nearly half since 1960.

Allies of Sustainable Earth

The Sustainable Earth allies share a certain number of common values, but also a agreement collaboration around united actions at international level.

 

These allies can be:

 

  • international organizations
  • regional organizations
  • national or local organizations

 

 

 

These organizations are nongovernmental, social, representing different social environments, public, or even from the private companies.

 

Within each organization, people are specifically mobilized by Sustainable Earth alliance.
