Initiative Strengthening the capacities of rural organizations in Central AfricaCENTRAL AFRICATo make emerge/reinforce a strong and dynamic rural movement in Central Africa and make it an actor of development for the country and subregionBearers of the initiative:At the time of the official creation of APM Afrique network in 1995, it had been fixed as objective to make emerge and/or reinforce a rural movement in Africa. Nearly ten years later, several central organizations exist in several countries in the form of national platforms in particular in West Africa, in the area CEDEAO, the CNCR in Senegal, the ANOPACI in Ivory Coast, to quote two examples. After that was done in almost the total of the Member States of CEDEAO, a platform under regional was created, the ROPPA. The same way in South and East Africa where were created or strengthen the MVIWATA in Tanzania, the KNFU in Kenya, the ZNFU in Zimbabwe to quote some. Later the EAFF was created. Excluding North Africa where APM Afrique network did not work, it is stated that same dynamics did not follow to Africa Centrale, zone CEMAC and CEEAC. In spite of some still fragile attempts. It is based on this idea that Network APM Africa initiated a Project of Strengthening of the Capacities of the Organizations of Producers of Cetral Africa (PROPAC) which received a small financing of the FIDA (Funds International for the Development of Agriculture) and for which the FPH (Foundation Charles Léopold Mayer for the Progress of the man) placed at the disposal a small complementary financing. This work of strengthening of the capacities of small producers organizations in Central Africa, thus aims at making up the delay shown by this under area, by stressing:
