Biodiversity is under floodlights. Based on the irreversible consequences that affect the living world, the United Nations (UN) declared 2010 "Year of Biodiversity. " The flow of information is at its peak. Climax: the Convention on Biodiversity, emanating from the Earth Summit in Rio in 1992, meet in October in Nagoya (Japan) 193 signatories of the Treaty. The 10th Conference of the Parties (COP 10) [1] was developed in Japan in the Congress Hall in Nagoya. It expects a massive presence of lobbyists. Under the pretext of conserving biodiversity, is preparing a complete reframing of the structure and objectives of the Convention. Short History of a formidable deception.

 

The concept of biodiversity is not limited today as "a diversity of living organisms and their genetic characteristics. " In a perfect parallel with the environmental services of the WTO (World Trade Organization), established in the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) [2], lies "all material" likely to be in value. It includes not only plants, animals, genes, but also landscapes, forests, recruitment and infiltration of water, traditional knowledge, cultures, the "awareness"of the public, etc ...
