Why maintain and develop the primary activities on the islands? For the island of Sein and the island of Groix. Taking a look on the islands is interesting since they represent in a very small space all or part of the activities on the continent, and allow to highlight the role of the primary activities in the maintenance of local populations and a life on the island. These islands could have made another choice for development, tourism ... but it is not impossible, is not unique.
This day was intended to highlight: the context of fisheries and agriculture in Britain and the complexity of organized sectors, major social changes and initiatives of individuals in the conservation of coastal living.
Some activities are highly dependent on water quality to develop. The meetings helped to identify problems and impacts on the productivity of the environment, highlighting the challenge of maintaining good environmental status of these media at the land and sea ... to analyze collective approaches that try in the context of productivity provide the means to reclaim these environment.
