The main objectives of the meeting were:

• To discover the particularities of rural Vietnam in the context of development options made by the country and at the same time, globalization
• Presentation of projects: the creation of a "rural service center" ; implementation of the ecotourism project in Vietnam
• Return to the training experiences of leaders of peasant organizations in connection with the proposed Sustainable Earth International University 

The seminar program has been defined taking into account the Sustainable Earth Alliance's own method, "learning journeys", ie, visits to local experiences to deepen through the discovery, exchange and discussion, reflection on key issues of the Alliance TC: Alternatives for rural development, modernization of the territories, the fight against rural exodus, the social economy...
