Katosi Women Development Trust won the award of the “Best performing NGO in the Water and Sanitation sector FY2008/2009” from the Ministry of Water and Environment of Uganda.
The best performing NGO Award means vindication and a national recognition of KWDT ideals and efforts for the last 13 years to increase access to safe water and promote hygiene and sanitation among the rural poor women in Mukono district.
